Be a Part of NACP and Make a Difference
The Napier Community Patrol (NACP) is a fantastic opportunity for you to give back to your community and contribute to a safer Napier. NACP offers flexible patrol schedules, allowing you to contribute based on your availability. Here’s what being a part of NACP means and why you should consider volunteering:
Be An Extra Set of Eyes and Ears
NACP volunteers act as a visible deterrent to crime. You’ll report suspicious activity to the police, helping to keep neighbourhoods safe.
Learn & Develop Valuable Skills
Training is provided, equipping you with relevant skills in observation, communication, and community safety procedures.
Build Relationships & Meet New People
You’ll work alongside a team of volunteers dedicated to making Napier a better place, fostering a sense of camaraderie and purpose.
Learn About Your Community
Gain first hand knowledge of the neighbourhoods you patrol and the challenges and needs of your community and community members.
Who Can Volunteer?
We welcome anyone who is 18 years or older, has a valid driver’s license, and is committed to making Napier a safer city. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training to all our volunteers.
